“Piero della Francesca in Texas (and Beyond)”
A Presentation by Luciano Cheles, Italian Art Historian and Senior Fellow to the Smithsonian Museum of American Art
Luciano Cheles is spending a year at the Smithsonian Museum for American Art to study the influence of the Italian master, Piero della Francesca, on American muralists. Cheles is visiting El Paso to learn about the murals and panel paintings of internationally acclaimed artist, Tom Lea.
“Piero della Francesca in Texas (and Beyond)” will offer the opportunity to hear from this scholar on his fascinating study.
